Rock legend Eric Clapton is refusing to perform at venues that allow only double-vaxxed people to attend.  “Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show,” Clapton has stated on the eve of a major US tour.

Clapton said he felt “honour bound” to make the announcement after he had suffered severe reactions to the Astra Zeneca Covid jab which he feared would end his playing career.  He has also been opposed to the removal of civil liberties to slow Covid’s spread and teamed up with rock musician Van Morrison to record the protest song ‘Stand and Deliver’ last December.

He said he had agreed to have the Covid vaccination after believing government propaganda that it was safe but said he suffered “severe reactions” after having the first AZ jab, and the reactions were worse with the second one.  “The reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks.  I feared I would never play again,” he wrote.
