Effect of artrofoon and SCENAR therapy on parameters of LPO and antioxidant system of the blood in patients with peritonitis in postoperative period.

Abstract Title: Effect of artrofoon and SCENAR therapy on parameters of LPO and antioxidant system of the blood in patients with peritonitis in postoperative period. Abstract Source: Bull Exp Biol Med. 2009 Sep;148(3):497-500. PMID: 20396722 Abstract Author(s): T A Varakanov, S Kh Luspikayan, N P Milyutina, A V Rozhkov Article Affiliation: Department of Urgent Medicine, Rostov State Medical University, Rostov-on-Don. Abstract: Administration of artrofoon in combination with SCENAR therapy to patients with localized suppurative peritonitis in the postoperative period considerably reduced plasma MDA level, stabilized ceruloplasmin activity, and increased catalase activity in erythrocytes compared to the corresponding parameters in patients receiving standard treatment in combination with SCENAR therapy. The use of electronic biofeedback for the management of post-herpetic neuralgia--a report of 3 cases.

Abstract Title: The use of electronic biofeedback for the management of post-herpetic neuralgia--a report of 3 cases. Abstract Source: Hawaii Med J. 2007 Sep;66(9):232, 234. PMID: 20879466 Abstract Author(s): Malcolm R Ing Article Affiliation: Division of Ophthalmology, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai'i, Honolulu, Hawai'i, USA. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Abstract: The purpose of these case reports is to describe treatment of three consecutive patients with post-herpetic neuralgia using a bioelectronical device (SCENAR). The instrument is approved as a Class II device in the United States. The electrode of the device was stroked gently over the involved skin area for up to 15 minutes per session. No more than 5 sessions over a 3-week period was required. All patients experienced substantial relief of pain from the first treatment. One patient required only 1 treatment lasting 10 minutes. The other 2 patients required 4 to 5 treatments over a 3-week period. One patient required a treatment for skin itch after one year with a follow up period of 6 months to 24 months. An electronic biofeedback device (SCENAR) may be successfully utilized in the management of post-herpetic neuralgia. Article Published Date : Sep 01, 2007

The effectiveness of SCENAR therapy in complex treatment of duodenal ulcer, and the mechanisms of its action

Abstract Title: [The effectiveness of SCENAR therapy in complex treatment of duodenal ulcer, and the mechanisms of its action]. Abstract Source: Klin Med (Mosk). 2006;84(7):35-41. PMID: 16924799 Abstract Author(s): Ia S Tsimmerman, I A Kochurova, E V Vladimirskiĭ Abstract: A new technique of low-frequency modulated electric current therapy, SCENAR therapy, was used in treatment of 103 patients with duodenal ulcer (DU). The influence of SCENAR therapy on the main clinical and functional indices of a DU relapse was studied. It was shown that SCENAR therapy, which influences disturbed mechanisms of adaptive regulation and self-regulation, led to positive changes in most of the parameters under study. Addition of SCENAR therapy to the complex conventional pharmacotherapy fastened ulcer healing, increased the effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication, and improved the condition of the gastroduodenal mucosa. The treatment of neurogenic bladder dysfunction with enuresis in children using the SKENAR apparatus. (self-controlled energy-neuroadaptive regulator)

Abstract Title: [The treatment of neurogenic bladder dysfunction with enuresis in children using the SKENAR apparatus. (self-controlled energy-neuroadaptive regulator)]. Abstract Source: Vopr Kurortol Fizioter Lech Fiz Kult. 1995 Jul-Aug(4):25-6. PMID: 8779182 Abstract Author(s): V A Lebedev Abstract: The author recommends a self-control energoneuroadaptive regulator (SCENAR) as effective in the treatment of neurogenic dysfunction of the bladder in children with nocturnal enuresis. This regulator operates according to the principles of Chinese medicine and may be used in sanatoria and at home by the children's parents specially trained by physiotherapist.
